Our housing initiatives seek to create collective impact by leveraging and increasing collaboration of all available regional housing resources for individuals and families who are facing a housing crisis in Southern California. We administer a two prong collaborative solution to Southern California’s housing crisis:
Pathways Network is alliance of over 35 housing and social service partners that utilize an electronic universal application and referral process. The application links and leverages housing resources with for individuals and families currently experiencing or at-risk to becoming homeless.
This collective impact project links and leverages housing resources with for individuals and families currently experiencing or at-risk to becoming homeless. The target populations are households with children under 18 years-old, transition aged youth, seniors and adults with disabilities. Since 2016, we have received assistance requests from over 5,000 unique households.
The Chance Project jointly coordinates a network of over 800 Southern California property owners, managers and community based housing organizations in creating innovative housing solutions for individuals, families, veterans and seniors in need of housing in our local communities. We have joined forces to a create a one-stop solution that leverages the benefits of government housing programs to save landlords time and money, avoid duplication of effort and benefit our communities.
Our landlord partners simply list their vacancies with us, either by phone, email or online and we share their vacancies to with our network of over 15 government and community partner agencies, many of whom can offer benefits including guaranteed rents, screened tenants and long- term eviction prevention assistance.
